We are a psychiatric practice providing thoughtful, evidence-based care through telehealth. Our team is licensed to see patients in Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana, with California coming soon. We focus on accurate diagnosis, medication management, and individualized treatment planning tailored to each patient's needs.

Thomas Winter

Medical Director

Thomas Winter, MD

Dr. Winter is a board-certified physician with 18 years of experience in emergency medicine, currently practicing at a Level I trauma center in Arizona. His clinical background includes extensive experience caring for patients in acute psychiatric crisis and those struggling with substance use disorders.

He provides addiction-focused care with an emphasis on safe, evidence-based treatment and practical, individualized care plans. His experience managing complex medical and psychiatric conditions allows for thoughtful, comprehensive care of patients with co-occurring needs.

Dr. Winter cares for patients across the lifespan and is committed to delivering respectful, patient-centered treatment that supports long-term recovery and stability.

Stephanie Winter

Stephanie is a doctorally prepared Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of advanced practice experience in emergency medicine, caring for both adult and pediatric populations.

Her clinical background in high-acuity settings brings a thoughtful, steady approach to psychiatric care, with a focus on careful diagnosis, safety, and individualized treatment planning. She provides care for patients across the lifespan, offering psychiatric evaluation and medication management through a modern telehealth model.

In addition to clinical practice, she is actively involved in teaching and mentoring future nurse practitioners, with a particular interest in improving access to care for underserved and rural communities.

Melissa Morales

Melissa is a Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in emergency medicine, caring for patients across the lifespan in both high-acuity and crisis settings. She brings a steady, thoughtful approach to care, shaped by years of managing complex and critically ill patients.

She is currently completing her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) training and has a strong interest in providing accessible, patient-centered mental health care. She is actively involved in mentoring and precepting nurse practitioner students.

A retired Air Force veteran, Melissa has a particular passion for serving rural and underserved communities, as well as disabled veterans. Her approach to care is grounded in respect, practicality, and a commitment to improving long-term health and wellbeing.

Physician Assistant

Day Keller, PA-C

Day Keller is a board-certified Physician Assistant with more than a decade of clinical experience spanning family practice and emergency medicine. Having cared for both adult and pediatric patients across high-acuity emergency settings and outpatient environments, she brings a rare breadth of perspective to every patient encounter.

She currently specializes in psychiatric evaluation and medication management, with a focused clinical interest in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD/ADD, postpartum depression, and bipolar disorder.

Day delivers care exclusively via a telehealth model, with a particular commitment to expanding access to evidence based psychiatric services for patients in rural and medically underserved communities.

Cherie Murray, MD.

Dr. Murray is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with extensive experience caring for patients in high-acuity and crisis settings. Her years in the emergency department bring a calm, decisive, and evidence-based approach to psychiatric care, with a focus on accurate assessment, safety, and practical, individualized treatment.

Dr. Murray is an American Indian of Navajo, Sioux, Kiowa, and Cherokee heritage and is an enrolled member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes. She is deeply committed to expanding access to care for Native American and tribal communities, with a particular focus on serving patients across Arizona and Alaska, where distance and limited local resources can make specialized care hard to reach. She brings a culturally respectful, patient-centered approach to every visit.

Through Anchor's secure telehealth model, Dr. Murray provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients across the lifespan. She meets people where they are and supports long-term health and wellbeing.

Behavioral Health Manager

Megan Mawson

Megan Mawson serves as Behavioral Health Manager for Anchor Psychiatric Group, where she oversees practice coordination and patient experience across our multi-state operations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development, and is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and mat Pilates instructor — a background that pairs an academic foundation in human behavior with a practical, whole-person approach to wellness.

The mind-body-breath connection is central to both her professional philosophy and her daily life. She believes that movement, breath, and human connection have the power to change the trajectory of a person's life, and she brings that perspective to every interaction, helping ensure each patient feels supported from first contact through ongoing care. Outside the office, she is an avid runner and strength trainer who thrives on the community of group fitness, with yoga and Pilates at the heart of her personal practice.
